Meet Nikki

The Story Behind Bubbles & Blow

Inspired from a very young age to express and explore her creativity, Nikki began her love affair with hair at the age of 14.

She entered the industry hitting the ground running - working 7 days a week as an assistant in a high-end salon in New Jersey. Soon after, she had the opportunity to train under numerous renowned hair stylists, and was inspired by Nick Arrojo and the culture of the NYC industry.

While on a trip to Cancun, Nikki met the love of her life, and now husband, Dale. After immigrating to Canada and settling into her new life, Nikki rekindled her love for hairstyling and became an international hairstylist, obtaining her license in Canada.

Unable to find a salon that really fulfilled her NYC appetite, and fighting against all odds, Nikki challenged herself to open her own NYC-style salon in Burlington, Ontario. Though Toronto may have been an obvious choice for city-loving Nikki, there was something special about the smaller city of Burlington - the people. Not long after moving to the area, Nikki was introduced to a warm, inviting, loving community - and she knew it was home. Bubbles & Blow Beauty Bar is a place where Nikki can give back to the supportive community that has welcomed her with open arms.
